Prescription Home Delivery Changes

If you currently fill a maintenance medication via mail order, your prescription will be transferred to IngenioRx Home Delivery Pharmacy effective July 1, 2019.  IngenioRx is the new pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) which Anthem will use to fill prescriptions.

No new prescriptions may be filled using Express Scripts home delivery after June 1, 2019.  This is to facilitate the transition to IngenioRx.  You may wish to ask your provider for a separate prescription for a 30 day supply of a new maintenance medication to be filled locally, and then a 90 day supply to be filled utilizing home delivery after July 1.

Starting July 1, you will need to order your refills by logging in at anthem.com.  If you currently utilize the auto refill program, you will still need to log in the first time to update your credit card information.

Prescriptions for controlled substances will not transfer.  You will need a new prescription for any controlled substance medications.

Prescriptions that have expired with no additional refill will also not transfer.  Please have your provider send in a new prescription to IngenioRx after July 1.
