Tuesday, June 16, 2026
You should be able to get high-quality mental health care when you need it. Anthem has recently added more than 13,000 new providers in all 50 states to their standard Employee Assistance Program (EAP) network to provide more consistent access to care. Most of those providers will also be available through the Anthem behavioral health network.
These providers are availabe through Headway, which offers an integrated online platform to simplify in-person and virtual provider searches and appointment scheduling. It includes personalized search filters based on your needs and preferences. Headway services include individual, couples, and family counseling.
You can access these additional Headway providers by visiting the EAP website, choosing Login in the Members box and entering “MMEHT”. Once logged into the site, select the Find a Counselor tile, and choose Headway. This how-to flyer provides more information about accessing EAP counseling via Headway.
The Health Trust provides the EAP to all employers that participate in the Health Trust health plan, at no additional cost to employees or employers. The Anthem EAP covers all employees, even those who are not enrolled in the health plan. It also covers the household members of all employees.
