The Health Trust is pleased to invite our current retirees, or members considering retirement in the near future, to attend one of the 2019 Retiree Workshops. The workshops will be offered throughout the state during October at the dates, times and locations below.
The first half of this workshop will focus on the benefits for retirees who have Medicare and the Health Trust Companion Plan coverage. The second half of the workshop is for soon to be retirees or retirees soon to be on Medicare to discuss transitioning to Medicare and the Health Trust Companion Plan.
Soon to be retirees and retirees soon to be on Medicare may also want to attend the first half of the workshop to learn about Medicare benefits, but we will briefly discuss some Medicare benefits in the second half of the workshop. For retirees who are already on Medicare, the second half would not be applicable because the focus is on the transition from traditional health coverage to Medicare and the Companion Plan.
During the workshop, attendees will learn about their medical, prescription and life insurance benefits, Medicare benefits and how to file claims. This is also a great opportunity to meet members of the Health Trust Member Services staff!
Light refreshments will be provided. There is no cost to attend these workshops.
Registration closed on September 27, 2019, and some of our locations have reached full capacity. However, there are still some spots available. Please call Health Trust Member Services at 1-800-852-8300 if you have not registered and would like to attend.
