Anne
Charles, Health Promotion
Manager
Anne has been with the MMEHT since the spring of 2000. She was initially hired as a Health Promotion Coordinator and taught a wide variety of classes ranging from Nutrition to Women's Health. She was promoted to the position of Health Promotion Manager in the Fall of 2006 where she is responsible for the facilitation of Wellness Incentive Grants and Employee Assistance Program Grants, recruitment of new Wellness groups and special projects. Anne has a degree in Community Health Education from the University of Maine at Farmington.
Abigail
(Ring) DiPasquale,
CHES, Health Promotion
Coordinator
Abigail
graduated from the
University of Maine
- Orono with a B.S.
in Child Development
and Family Relations.
Her interest in women’s
health issues led her
to pursue a Master of
Public Health (MPH) degree
from Southern Connecticut
State University, where
she also became a Certified
Health Education Specialist
(CHES). During her time
at SCSU she focused her
energies toward community
health education, with
a special emphasis on
minority populations and
lifelong health education.
Following completion of
her graduate work, Abby
decided to move back to
her home state of Maine
and began working in the
public health field, with
a particular emphasis
on nutrition, women’s
health, and tobacco
related initiatives.
Abby continues
to research and
explore emerging
topics in public
health and workplace
wellness
and hopes to bring
her excitement
for these topics
to communities throughout
Maine as a Health
Promotion Coordinator
for Maine Municipal
Employees Health
Trust.
Danielle
Yale, Health Promotion
Coordinator
Danielle
Yale is the newest
addition to the Wellness
Works staff. Danielle
is originally from
Connecticut, and
graduated
from the University
of Delaware with
a Bachelor’s
of Science degree
in Fitness Management.
Danielle has held
positions as a Corporate
Fitness Director in
Connecticut and Maryland.
During that time,
she created many incentive,
motivational and wellness
type programs. While
at MMA, Danielle will
be taking some of
her past programs
and revising them
to meet the needs
of Health Trust participants.
She also plans to
develop several new
programs focusing
on the exercise component
of wellness.
